Calvin Mathibeli beats the odds

Founder of Calvin and Family Group (CFG), Calvin Mathibeli , is a true definition of the saying that a situation doesn’t maketh a man. This former garden boy is a innovative entrepreneur who has successfully run multiple businesses with his family group business for the past 17 years.

Mathibeli started out as a cell phone repairer, in order to cover the cost of his Diploma in Taxation and Accounting at the Durban University of Technology in 2006, a year after starting CFG. CFG which specialises in residential development has a diverse range of subsidiaries; all striving to provide innovative service solutions and products to meet the unique and dynamic needs of its customers in society.

Calvin Mathibeli was recently honored with the 2016 National Entrepreneur Champion Award at the South African Small Business Awards.
